With public relations experience in both the non-profit and for-profit sectors, I have a proven track record of securing coverage on both the local and national levels, in an array of mediums, and for a variety of industries. Click on each item below to see more about the press clip.

During my time at Simon & Schuster, I had the pleasure of being the publicist for a graphic memoir titled ALL THE ANSWERS. The book was reviewed by The New York Times Book Review in their monthly graphic novel column, which had only launched one month prior.

As the publicist for ALL THE ANSWERS, I also secured and coordinated a guest essay written by the book's author for Slate.

When a new CEO joined Rise Against Hunger in March 2020, I drafted and distributed the above press release to relevant media.

For 2019's World Food Day, I secured news coverage for Rise Against Hunger's local event in Raleigh, N.C.

While working as the publicist for Gallery 13, a graphic novel imprint within Simon & Schuster, I secured and coordinated an interview with Library Journal for the imprint's two editors at the time.

I drafted this press release for the Rise Against Hunger Goes Live virtual event, which was then distributed on the wire and sent to applicable media contacts.

I worked with the mayor's office in Raleigh, North Carolina, to secure a mayoral proclamation announcing Rise Against Hunger Day in the city.

I secured an interview for Rise Against Hunger's CEO on the United Methodist Church's Compass Podcast
