With a degree in English Literature and Creative Writing, my academic career was absolutely filled with writing projects, including the examples below. Click them to see more detail.

During my undergraduate education, I had an academic paper accepted to the 2014 Sigma Tau Delta International Convention in Savannah, Georgia. This competitive convention received paper submissions from members of the Sigma Tau Delta International English Honor Society from all around the world. I felt very honored that my paper, Book Fandoms and the Harry Potter and Nerdfighter Book Communities, was chosen.

As the culminating project for my Bookbuilding publishing course taken during my undergraduate education, I created an entire chapbook. I chose pieces written throughout my time in college and then proofread and edited the pieces to have them polished for publication. Then, I designed the layout and cover for the chapbook. Finally, I printed, cut, and bound five copies of the book.

In my Bookbuilding publishing course, I created a literary magazine spread that included the first chapter of The Great Gatsby. Giving the text a unique tone, I highlighted the allure of the story's new beginning and transformations.
